Alexandria Bay's unofficial nudist beach is situated on the eastern side of the Noosa Heads National Park. Despite its lack of legal status, this is still Queensland's most popular nude beach, sometimes attracting hundreds of bathers at the weekends. The easiest way to get to this beach is to park in the main Noosa Heads National Park car park and then take a pleasant 3km walk to the beach, continuing southwards to the main nudist section. Alternatively, you can walk north from Sunshine Beach, although this may be a steep and rocky climb in parts. You can also try to park at the end of Solway Drive but parking spaces are very limited here. For more accurate directions and to support the campaign to legalise naturism on this beach please visit the Free Beaches Australia (FBA) website. |

TIP: The forum at www.NudistFriends.com has a large section on Australian Nudism which you can browse without even signing up! Find out who else intends to visit this beach soon... |
