Playa de Sotavento, Fuerteventura - Unofficial Nude Beach

Playa de Sotavento is probably the largest uninterrupted stretch of white sandy beach in the Canary Islands. But while this makes it easy to find a remote spot for nude sunbathing, most parts of the beach are so isolated that you should remember to take along plentiful supplies. Also bear in mind that this part of the Jandia peninsula is very exposed to the elements, making conditions great for windsurfing but not ideal for nude sunbathing when the wind is strong.

PLAYA DE SOTAVENTO NUDE BEACH REPORTS:

1. This is a fabulous beach with a very long sand bar when the tide is out. Many of the visitors on the day we were there were nude away from the beach bar come windsurf school. You can easily find a spot for yourself with your nearest neighbours a good few minutes walk away. The winds can be quite strong on the sand bar and there is no shelter, many people sunbathed adjacent to the dunes at the back of the beach. Well worth a visit, but few facilities so bring plenty of water and suncream.- K&L
