Playa del Pozo Nudist Beach, Lanzarote

Playa del Pozo nudist beach is often used for nude sunbathing, although not as much at the weekends when many local people are present. The southern part of this beach is a mixture of rocks and sand, while the northern part is all golden sand. The easiest way to reach this nude beach is to park on the extreme right hand side of the Punta del Papagayo cafe/bar's car park, then follow the path over a small hill to Playa del Pozo. This beach can also be reached by walking around the headland at the south of Playa Mujeres where you will pass many small sandy coves that are generally nude except at weekends (see this photo). Or you can walk OVER the headland via the path that goes past the Unnamed Cross which is marked on my map below. The cafe/bar between Playa de Papagayo and Playa de la Cera is the only source of refreshments in the area.
