Close to the village of Agios Nikitas there is another unofficial clothing optional beach named Pefkoulia. You can reach the beach by car, going north towards the city of Lefkada for about half a kilometre. There is a small parking area and a bar restaurant. Go beyond the bar and, after a while, the beach get less crowded and mainly naturist. It is a long and beautiful sandy beach, less impressive than the wonderful Mylos and much more exposed to the strong northwest winds. Behind the beach there is a large pine wood (from which the name Pefkoulia, that means pinewood in greek) which people use for free camping; so, during the high season, the beach can be less proper than others and full of wasps. - Greecelover
